Vobcopy-0.5.12
THIS VERSION IS STILL BUGGY! NEW ONE WILL BE OUT ON FRIDAY, 27.4.2004 (I hope). vobcopy-0.5.12.tar.gz | vobcopy-0.5.12.tar.bz2 (current - 7.3.2004)
In order to use this you need libdvdread and - in case you want your dvd's unencrypted - look for libdvdcss. For infos regarding vobcopy see the documentation to vobcopy, the README or the man page in the package.
vobcopy_0.5.12-3_i386.deb. This is my trial deb file, so let me know if it is broken or something. Vobcopy is about to get into unstable, so here are the maintainer-packages (might need to catch up first).
For woody sources list entry (/etc/apt/sources.list)
deb http://vobcopy.birch.ws/vobcopy woody main
Packages made for Mandrake, Suse or Redhat (and whatever is rpm based):
vobcopy-0.5.12-1.src.rpm source rpm package (made like described below on a mandrake system)
For rpm systems, you can rebuild the binary with
rpmbuild
-ta vobcopy-0.5.12.tar.gz
Packages compiled for Mandrake (i586, ppc, alpha, athlon64 and sparc) are here (choose mirror and then see cooker resp. src directory). Thanks a lot to Götz Waschk!
